The 13th European Seminar on Personal Protective Equipment in January 2016 had a special focus on the new PPE Regulation. The discussions highlighted a number of uncertainties with regard to the transition from the PPE Directive to the PPE Regulation and showed the need to continue discussions among all stakeholders about the implementation of the PPE Regulation.
The organising team therefore suggested a dedicated workshop to evaluate the experiences in the preparation for the PPE Regulation mid-term between the entry into force and the application of the PPE Regulation between the 13th and 14th European Seminar on PPE.
The workshop will address the discussion topics identified during the PPE Seminar in January 2016 and provide an opportunity for all stakeholders to exchange experiences and views, and pave the way for a smooth transition into the era of the PPE Regulation.
Participants in the 13th European seminar on PPE as well as everyone else affected by the implementation of the PPE regulation, such as: authorities, manufacturers, suppliers, purchasers, users, social partners, standardisers, health and safety experts….
